Gamze Ateş

After more than 20 years as a corporate executive and entrepreneur in finance, logistics, and fashion, Gamze Ates chose to dedicate the next chapter of her life to making the world a better place. Drawing on her extensive experience and creative vision, she leads and grows My Beachy Side, empowering thousands of women in her native Turkey with economic freedom.

Gamze’s entrepreneurial journey includes founding and leading an international shipping company, which was ultimately acquired by DHL Worldwide. As Senior Executive Vice President at DHL, she managed operations across 82 countries within the Global Customer Solutions Division and played a vital role in the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, driving meaningful change on a global scale.

After her time at DHL, Gamze served as the New York Editor of Turkish Vogue and contributed her leadership to the boards of the Turkish Philanthropy Funds and the Endometriosis Foundation of America.

In 2015, Gamze founded My Beachy Side, a sustainable resortwear brand that embodies her creative passion and commitment to empowering women. By incorporating traditional Turkish crochet into its designs, the brand supports fair trade practices, providing women with sustainable incomes and economic independence. My Beachy Side reflects Gamze’s deep belief that fashion can transcend beauty—it can be a powerful agent of change,  blending timeless craftsmanship with a commitment to empowering communities, promoting environmentally friendly practices, and revitalizing our planet while building a more sustainable and equitable world.
